At first, maybe these titles don't seem to say much about Stephen LaMure's expertise in commercial real estate or his understanding of the importance of design. But when Stephen founded Dominus Commercial in 2001 and Entersect in 2019 he brought not only an extensive knowledge of the inner workings of markets and emerging trends – forged during his work with some of the most respected commercial real estate firms in the country, including the Trammel Crow Company, Terren Commercial Brokerage Inc., and Baker Commercial Realty – he brought a spirit of service. He brought not only the investment skills he built during his previous work at top-tier financial firms NYLIFE Securities and New York Life Insurance Company, he brought his dedication to people and to community and how they fit together.
As President and CEO of Dominus Commercial, and Entersect, Stephen oversees and participates in every aspect of the business, drawing on his vast experience working with diverse businesses and ownership structures. His responsibilities include project development, investment and property management, leasing, and corporate advisory services. And because Stephen is who he is, he has created in Dominus Commercial a firm where team members care about and respect all clients, working tirelessly on their behalf while showing the same level of care and respect for one another.
Throughout his extensive career in commercial real estate and seventeen years as a successful entrepreneur and business owner, Stephen has continued to serve his community both within and outside the commercial real estate profession. He is a member of TREC and NTCAR. He is a past president of the Dallas Chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), and now serves as an Area Director. He is a mentor with a number of organizations: the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UT Dallas, EO, and the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) through the U.S. State Department. He serves on the University of Dallas Alumni’s Advisory Panel, as well as being involved with a variety of charitable organizations. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political philosophy from the University of Dallas, and is a devoted husband and father of three. He lives in Glen Rose, Texas.
